Istanbul Okan University

Istanbul Okan University is one of the best developed universities in Turkey. The university was established in 1999. The university is located on the eastern side of Istanbul. She began her academic career in 2003-2004. With the aim of supporting students to become distinguished graduates in various disciplines, and preparing future scholars who are able to prove their skills and experience on a theoretical and practical level.

Istanbul Okan University has 9 faculties, including 63 undergraduate programs, 41 master’s programs and 13 doctoral programs, in addition to vocational schools and graduate institutes. The university also offers its students student exchange opportunities in 400 different institutions around the world.

European Union Research Centre:

The center focuses on Turkish-European relations in

its regional and global context. It aims to provide a space for researchers from different disciplines to share their work, research and experiences across Europe.

Computer and Application Research Center:

It works to provide support for software, hardware and applications related to the educational, administrative, academic and research activities of Istanbul Okan University. The center also seeks to obtain the latest software, hardware and applications by tracking global technological developments.

Center for Research and Cultural Studies:

The center aims to provide an environment in which academics and students from different cultures can conduct intercultural dialogue from different angles and in an objective manner and prepare studies that create awareness about cultural contradictions and commonalities.

Muhammad Yunus International Center:

The Muhammad Yunus International Center for Finance and Social Business was launched from the perspective of the university’s social mission, which is to create social awareness and implement projects that benefit society, and is the first center of its kind in Turkey.

Note to study professional aviation at the university:

The student must pay a training fee in private training companies, estimated at 52 thousand euros, and this fee is not related to the university’s tuition fees. These fees are paid in installments from the second year of study in the specialization.
